While I lived in Taos, NM, I was befriended by a flock of magpie.  I wrote about this experience earlier this week.  Today, I thought I would share their medicine with you.

They invited me to co-create an animal essence with them while there.  It was a beautiful experience.  The co-creation process began in the empty magpie nest, absorbing all the nurturing protective energies of momma magpie.  Their vocalization and conversations were added as the bottle sat on a beautiful crystal grid.

Here is what Magpie proclaimed as her medicine:

“I live in the realm between shadow and light — straddling both experiences.  I am balance. 

At times I use my voice to alert you to serious danger, fiercely protecting you from harm.  Other times I vocalize playfulness and laughter reminding you not to take life so seriously.  I flow through life with balance.

As humans, you live in the energies that feel like polarities.  I discrete that worldview, allowing and inviting you to soar above to greater awareness that all of life contains beauty and playfulness, even in the darkest of times.   When you are free from the worldview of polarities and constraints, you realize that nothing can keep you from fully enjoying life other than yourself.”
